East and South Spencer Field Road at Carlyn Drive intersection improvements
Intersection improvements at East Spencer Field Rd., South Spencer Field Rd. and Carlyn Dr. will commence Aug. 11 starting with surveying the project site. The project includes converting the existing four-way stop into a signalized intersection. Motorists should use caution when approaching the area and expect delays once construction begins.
Construction will include new signalization, additional turn lanes, pedestrian facilities, drainage improvements, pavement milling and resurfacing, striping, signage and traffic control. Funded by the Local Option Sales Tax (LOST), the cost of construction is approximately $431,000 and is expected to be completed in January 2021.
