Keep in Mind This New Mandatory Business Ownership Report

See what needs to be done, and we can help if needed. Did you know 97% of small businesses are required to file a FinCEN BOI Report as part of the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA)? According to federal law, beginning Jan. 1 this year, companies across the country have to report information about their beneficial owners — those who directly or indirectly own and control the company. Businesses must report this Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), a U.S. Department of the Treasury bureau. You can get help filing from us as well as SBDC partner FileForms to complete things, including using our discount code: SBDC25. Learn more.
