The National Hurricane Center has issued advisories for Helene, as well as tropical storm warnings and watches for parts of Florida’s west coast. We are urging customers to prepare for possible widespread, extended power outages. Here is what we are doing now to prepare:
    • Given the current projected path of Helene, we’re preparing for power outages from what is forecast to be a very dangerous storm.
    • We’re pre-positioning a restoration workforce which includes employees, contractors and out-of-state assistance as well as supplies and equipment.
    • Severe winds, heavy rain, extensive flooding and storm surge could pose significant challenges to power restoration efforts.
    • We’re finalizing staging sites in the areas most likely to be impacted by the storm and coordinating our response with county and state emergency operations centers.
To stay informed, read our current news release for the most up-to-date information.
    Sincerely,

    Pam Rauch
