    September is Library Card Sign-up Month

    Get in Your Element this September—sign up for a library card. From borrowing books and eBooks to getting homework help, learning new skills, or attending storytime, a library card helps you do more of what you enjoy. A library card is your most important school supply—it's elemental, really—and everyone should have one.


    UF/IFAS Extension Office Educational Programs

    The UF/IFAS Extension office presents monthly research-based educational programs in agriculture, horticulture, family and consumer sciences, and more. September’s topic is identifying and managing invasives. Invasive plants cause unknown damage to our natural spaces. Identifying and controlling these species is critical to maintaining healthy landscape. Join us to learn what is considered an invasive, and how to eliminate these from your property. It will be presented on the following date:
