    Event Description:
    Why should people shop small businesses? what is the benefit to the community?
    Saturday November 28th is designated by American Express as the Shop Small Business Day.  A day to encourage the community to patronize with small businesses. The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce has signed up with American Express to be a Neighborhood Champion willing to rally the community to unite with planned activities.
    Shop Small is an event dedicated to recognizing store front businesses. We signed up to be a Neighborhood Champion to not only recognize the mom and pop store, but the entrepreneur and the home base business owner as well.  All small businesses contribute a lot to the economic stability of our community and they deserve to be recognize.
