The community is invited to stop by to learn more about the Santa Rosa County Emergency Management Department and the emergency operations center's role during a disaster.
"We try to host an annual event where we invite our community to join us at the Emergency Operation Center, to learn more about what your Santa Rosa County Emergency Management team does before, during and after a disaster," said Tom Lloyd, Public Safety Director for Santa Rosa County. "We want to show our commitment to excellence in serving our community by connecting with great local organizations and helping your family prepare for disasters."
Santa Rosa County Emergency Management has also invited other county departments and community organizations to highlight services and opportunities available to the community. The Big Red Bus, with OneBlood, will also be onsite taking life-saving donations.
