    The Navarre Chamber Military Affairs Committee (MAC) will host the 2nd Annual Military Affairs Picnic "Saluting Our Hometown Heroes" on Saturday, May 12, 2018, from 11 am to 3 pm in Navarre Park, 8513 Navarre Parkway. The "Stars & Stripes Presenting Sponsor" is Eglin Federal Credit Union.

    The Military Appreciation Picnic will be dedicated to honor, remember, recognize and appreciate those who have served and those now serving. All service members and their families are invited to enjoy a carefree day of food, fun, music, games and fellowship.

    "In the Navarre area, these everyday heroes surround us. They are our neighbors, little league coaches, co-workers and friends. We make it a point to express our g...ratitude during the month of May (and beyond) to those currently serving in the armed forces, our veterans and their families," said Michele Tucker, Chair of the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee.

    The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee is seeking sponsorships, volunteers and donations for this wonderful event as it feeds, entertains and shows appreciation for military members and their families in the Navarre area.     The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Committee Military Affairs Committee (MAC) is a group of about 40 Navarre Chamber Members who volunteer service to the military through support of the military mission and enhancement of the relationship between the community and the military.
