    If you and/or a member of your business/organization is interested in being part of Navarre's 4th Annual Military Appreciation Picnic Committee, please make plans to attend the first committee meeting on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 4 pm at The Navarre Chamber Information Center at 1804 Prado Street (behind TC's Front Porch).

    The Navarre Chamber will host the 4th Annual Military Affairs Picnic "Saluting Our Hometown Heroes"     on Saturday, May 9, 2020, from 11 am to 3 pm in Navarre Park, 8513 Navarre Parkway.

    The Military Appreciation Picnic will be dedicated to honor, remember, recognize and appreciate those who have served and those now serving. All service members and their families are invited to enjoy a carefree day of food, fun, music, games and fellowship. This is a non-alcoholic event for the entire family.

    In the Navarre area, these everyday heroes surround us. They are our neighbors, little league coaches, co-workers and friends. We make it a point to express our gratitude during the month of May (and beyond) to those currently serving in the armed forces, our veterans and their families.

    The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is currently seeking sponsors, volunteers and donations for this wonderful community event as it feeds, entertains and shows appreciation for military members and their families (retired & active duty) in the Navarre area.

    One of the most popular things at the picnic are the Door Prizes. Each family member gets a ticket that they can put in the jar by the individual prize they want to try to win. The kids especially enjoy this activity and our community is so generous in donating bikes, games, etc.

    The Navarre Chamber is now accepting items for women, men, kids and families. Nothing is too small and everything is very much appreciated by the military in attendance.
