Name: Join Us for a Facebook Live Event: SBA Small Business Disaster Loans Explained
    Date: April 9, 2020
    Time: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM CDT
    Event Description:

    Has your small business been
    economically impacted by COVID-19?

We're here to help answer your questions about the
federal disaster programs available to you through the CARES Act.

There is a growing number of programs available from the federal government. The CARES Act provides funding for the new Paycheck Protection Program, makes modifications to and expands the eligibility of the existing Economic Injury Disaster Loan program (EIDL), and provides immediate loan payment relief for current SBA loan program borrowers. These changes and new programs offer immediate and substantial emergency capital assistance available to our state's small businesses.

Join us for a Facebook Live event Thursday, April 9th starting at 2:00 PM EST (1:00 PM CST), whereby Florida SBDC Network CEO Mike Myhre will provide an overview of the U.S. SBA's disaster loan programs available in Florida to help small businesses suffering substantial economic injury as a result of COVID-19.

During the event, he will address frequently asked questions, eligibility requirements, and provide an opportunity for businesses and the public to ask questions in real-time.
