    Event Description:
    The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual “Christmas in the Park” - Presented by:  Walmart Navarre and Walmart Neighborhood Market Navarre - will be Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 10 am – 5 pm in Navarre Park at the foot of the Navarre Bridge.

    This year’s event will include a Merry Market where local arts and craft vendors will gather with great gift ideas for everyone on your list. Vendors can now register to be part of the 2018 Navarre Merry Market.

    The Annual Navarre Community Christmas Parade - Presented by: PrimeLending - will start at 2 pm at the Navarre Library and will roll south along Presidio, making a left at Esplanade Street and ending in the back parking lot of Centennial Bank.

    Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive by fire truck in the parade and will be available for photos with children as soon as the parade ends.  Visits are free and parents are invited to bring their cameras for photos. 

    Free baked goods and hot beverages will be available at Mrs. Claus’ Bakery - Sponsored by: Okaloosa Gas District

    Reindeer Games will begin at 11 am in Navarre Park.  There will be ticketed games for children to play for prizes, as well as face painting, a cake walk and "Fair Hair".  And, Santa's Workshop will be open where children can participate in a holiday craft project.

    The 20-foot Christmas Tree - Sponsored by University Lending Group - will be erected in the park.  The tree lighting will take place at approximately 5 pm. Live entertainment, featuring local schools and choirs from the local area will continue throughout the event and will conclude with the lighting of the Christmas Tree.

    The Chamber is now accepting applications from any group, businesses, organizations or individuals that would like to participate in the Navarre Community Christmas Parade.  The cost to enter is $50 per entry.   The registration form and entry fee must be received no later than Noon on Wednesday, November 28, 20186.  For a parade entry form, sponsorship opportunities, or general information regarding this holiday event log on to www.navarrechamber.com or call the Chamber at 850-939-3267.

    The Chamber Foundation's Jingle Bell 5K Run/Walk Fun Run will begin at 8 am at the Holley-Navarre Fire Station at 8618 Esplanade Street (behind McDonalds's).  The first 200 registrants receive a long sleeve t-shirt.  There will be post race refreshments and door prizes.  A special prize will be awarded to the most festive participant.  You can download a registration form at www.navarrechamberfoundation.org

    Businesses, organizations and individuals are invited to create a one-of-a-kind wreath to be auctioned at the Navarre Chamber's Inaugural Festival of Wreaths sponsored by Century 21 Island View Realty, LLC!

    What is Festival of Wreaths?

    Festival of Wreaths is the Navarre Chamber's Christmas in the Park Committee's newest fundraiser.

    Festival of Wreaths will be a silent auction event that will be unveiled at the Navarre Chamber's Holiday Commerce & Coffee sponsored by the University of West Florida on Friday, November 30 at the Navarre Conference Center, 8543 Navarre Parkway. The silent auction will continue at Christmas in the Park on Saturday, December 1. Bidding will end at 4 pm.

    How can you get involved and support Festival of Wreaths?

    Sponsor a wreath for our decorator to design on your behalf or design your own!

    Let your creativity shine and have fun decorating a wreath! 

    This is a great way to promote your business, product or organization. 

    Wreath sponsors will have their name displayed on the signage at Christmas in the Park on Saturday, December 1 and on the Chamber's website.

    All wreaths should have a specific theme or name.

    Make your wreath extra special by adding merchandise, gift certificates or gift cards to increase the bidding potential.

    Step 1 - Create a decorated wreath

    Step 2 - Deliver your donated wreath to the Navarre Chamber Office on Monday, November 26, 2018 (9am-5pm) at 2053 Fountain Professional Court, Suite A.

    Step 3 - Join us for the Unveiling of the Wreaths at the Chamber's Holiday Commerce & Coffee on Friday, November 30 at the Navarre Conference Center, 8700 Navarre Parkway.

    Step 4 - The Silent Auction will continue Saturday, December 1, 2018 (11 am and will end at 4 pm) in Navarre Park, 8543 Navarre Parkway.
